The ticket is only valid for the day of purchase of the ticket. Due to the great tickets demand and to the number of visitors per day being limited, advance booking is recommended. There are three types of tickets: Daytime visitThe areas open to visitors are: the Alcazaba, the Nasrid Palaces, the Mosque baths and the Generalife (The garden visit is include in the daytime visit). Entry to the areas accessible to visitors is strictly limited to the relevant time of day shown on the purchased ticket (morning, afternoon or evening visit), once inside visitors may remain until closing time. Morning ticket:
Monday to Sunday: 8.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Afternoon ticket:
2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (1st Nov.-28th Feb.) 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. (1st March-31st Oct.) Gardens visit
During the daytime it is also possible to obtain a ticket that allows the visitor to specifically see the Monument's main gardens. This includes: Access to these areas is not controlled by a specific timetable; they can be visited at any time during the morning or afternoon sessions, according to the relevant time shown on the ticket. It is also possible to visit those places that have been designated as "area of the month", as long as these areas are included within the itineraries allowed by this ticket. Morning ticket:

Entry to the Nasrid PalacesEntrance to the Nasrid Palaces is strictly limited to the half-hour indicated on the ticket due to the restrictions on maximum capacity in this area (300 people each thirty minutes). Visitors will be refused admission to this area outside this time slot. Admission to this area will finish one hour before closing time. Visitors are advised to begin their itinerary with the Generalife and the Alcazaba, as a visit to the Palaces takes at least half an hour. Visitors will be asked to leave the complex at closing time.
